It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wald (Zeeland, North Dakota), who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Markus Wald and Kathrine Wald (Moch); his son Curtis; his siblings, Alvin, James, Phyllis Wald and Elsie Gross (Adam); and his brothers-in-law, Joe Gross and Wayne Bates.
He is survived by: his wife Millie Glatt of Zeeland; his children, Twila Nohrenberg (Bob) of Horace, ND, Betty Thune (Kevin) of Bismarck, Sheila Johnson of West Fargo, Darcy Hoff (Jim) of Bismarck, Alvin Wald (Bonnie) of Bismarck and Lee Wald (Misti) of Overland Park, KS; his sisters, MaryAnn Gross of Bismarck, Donna Feist (Joe) of Napoleon, Margie Piatz (Sam) of Napoleon and Theresa Bates of Butte, MT; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Wald of Bismarck and Valencia Wald of Venturia. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Strasburg Care Center or the charity of the donor's choice.
