It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Mindt of Zap, North Dakota, born in Hazen, North Dakota, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ray Renner and Ellen Renner; her former husband Doug Feil; her husband Bill Mindt; her son David Feil (Gina); her grandchildren, Laura Aiello (Jacob), Austin, Luke, Grace Feil and Beulah; her children, Tara Mindt, Jamison Mindt of Shields, ND and Justin Feil (Rachael); her grandchildren, Aubrey and Carson Feil; her siblings, Carol Schafer of Edgewood, WA, Sharon Klein (Tom) of Bismarck and Gary Renner (Lynell) of Zap; her siblings-in-law, Jack Mindt (Connie), Jackie Brovold (Jay) of Dickinson and Penny Knaup (Doug Wright) of Parker, CO; her parents-in-law, Edmund Mindt, Charlie and Hilda Knaup; her brothers-in-law, Allan Engen and Ron Schafer; and her nephews, Jeff Schafer and Ryan Tesky.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Zap Park Board – Beaver Bay and the Willow Butte Sunshine Club.
