He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Sayler and Anna Sayler (Sailer); his siblings, Waldmore Sayler, Adolph Sayler, Paul Sayler, Walter Sayler and Esther Zinnel; and his grandson Chauncey Sayler.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Sayler (Lora), Calvin Sayler (Patience), Duane Sayler (Karla) and Rachelle Hauser; his grandchildren, Tedra Sayler, Torey Sayler, Joshua Sayler (Ciri), Elizabeth Wunderlich (Caleb), Samuel Sayler (Joy), Ryan Sayler (Sarah), Mickal Schwartz (Timothy), Zachary Hauser (Hayle), Quentin Hauser (Leann), Olivia Hauser and Kolby Hauser; and his brother-in-law Donald Boeckel (Carol). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
