It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Skip Calkins of Ypsilanti, North Dakota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on February 14, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold, Sr. Calkins and Darlene Calkins (Weber); and his siblings, Tim and Marie Sjostrom. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Heather Calkins (Allen), Tony Calkins (Rachael) of Jamestown, ND, Justin Stroh (Chris), Kyle Stroh (Jessica) and Melissa Stroh; his grandchildren, Austin Hatlewick, Shayla Schauer, Blayze Schauer, Adley Stroh, Jera Stroh, Brayden Stroh, Kayla Stroh and Dodge Calkins; his great grandchildren, Trent and Talia Hatlewick; and his siblings, Michael (Linda), Daniel (Eileen), Mary Pundt (Jerry), Patricia McKee (Patrick), Calvin (Rose), Donna Standish (John), Susan Limesand (Neil), Pamela Altringer (Keith), Tina Banen, Janell Weber (Dallas), Tourney, Mark (Robin) and Holly Miller (Jeff).
