Curtis Borud Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Conroy Borud and Onnelee Borud (Crain). He is survived by: his children, Sheila Haberman (Steve) of Wahpeton, ND, Shawn Tweiten (Tim) of West Fargo, ND, Troy Borud (Sue) of Oxbow, ND and Candice Gulbranson (Dan) of Oklahoma City, OK; his grandchildren, Ben Haberman (Vanessa), Lance Haberman (Anissa), Krissy Borud, Kami Tweiten, Tim Tweiten, Nick Tweiten (Kelly), Mason Borud (Alissa), Conor Borud (Morgan), Payton Piatz (Jordan), Danielle Gulbranson, Seth Gulbranson and Anna Gulbranson; his great grandchildren, Addison Haberman, Mason, Laci, Stevie Haberman, Hayden, Brodie Borud, Jack Piatz and Ezekiel Hines; his siblings, Shirley Berg and Jim Borud (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Roy Lekang (Carla), Richard Lekang (Joyce), James Lekang (Donna) and Judy Rudolph (Rodney); his wife Phyllis; his parents-in-law, Paul and Erma Lekang; his siblings, Lenora Jensen (Davis), Gary Borud and David Borud; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Lekang, JoAnn Lekang, Don Davis, Max Jensen, Rich Berg and Jack Lekang. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Wyndmere Lutheran Church (318 3rd St, Wyndmere, ND 58081). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Wyndmere Lutheran Church, Kindred Lutheran Church or Hospice of the Red River Valley.
