He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Sanden (G. O.) and Ragna Sanden (Tollefson); his wife Ruth Tvete; his siblings, Orvin, Glennis, George, Mildred Pelvit, Rella Bly, Ardyce Johnson and Geneva Martinek (Peggy); and his son-in-law Steven Bren.
He is survived by: his son Bill; his daughter-in-law Jan Sanden of Roseville, MN; his daughter Virginia (Ginnie); his son-in-law Marvin Asp; his grandchildren, Karin Garduno (Picho), Kjerstin Yager (Shane), Kelli Leeman (Daniel) and Austin Bren (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Anja, Klara Garduno, Micah and Theodore Leeman; and his sister-in-law Grace Beck (Don) of Detroit Lakes, MN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gol-Aal Cemetery.
