Barbara Mashek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mashek (Wyndmere, North Dakota), who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James "Mike" Mashek; her parents, Sophie and Theodore; her son Michael; her great grandchildren, Wyatt Allen and Hope Violet; her brother Joseph; and her half-brother Tony.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy, Joanie Kratcha (Chris), Charlie, Lori Sorum (Paul) and Phil Glander (Candy) of Wahpeton, ND; and her siblings, Henny Matthys of Wahpeton, ND, Pat Resler (Emil), Mary Strande (Earl), Ed Shorma (Pat) of Wahpeton, ND and Andy Shorma (Sharon). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Barbara's family greatly appreciates your sympathy, but due to covid restrictions, they ask that you refrain from hugging and shaking hands as much as possible, and also that you wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CHI Health at Home Hospice, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, or the Wyndmere Brown Nelson Legion Auxiliary.
