He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Fiechtner and Leona Fiechtner (Rath); and his siblings, Ronald, Frederick and Evelyn.

He is survived by: his wife Henrietta (Gall); his grandchildren, Heidi Fiechtner of Yellowstone, WY, Joshua Fiechtner (JoAnna) of Tuscan, AZ, Matt Fiechtner, Vanessa Davan (Jared) of Denver, CO, Jeff McDougall (JD) of Houston, TX, Todd Fiechtner (Kendra), Parker Fiechtner and Kennede Fiechtner; his great grandchildren, Teo Duran, Naimah McDougall, Jeniah McDougall, Carter Fiechtner, Ashlynn Fiechtner and Sophia Fiechtner; his sisters, Marlene Bucholz and Erma Wickham (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Julie and Milo.
