He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his mother Catherine; and his brothers, Armin and Rueben. He is survived by: his sons, Brian (Mandan), Bruce of Garner, NC, Brent (Wing) and Blain of Wausau, WI; and his siblings, Roland "Pete" (Bismarck) and Ruth (Bismarck). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
