He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Leonard and Louise Marie Bailey (Brahn) of Wing; his wife Frances Fay Robinette; his siblings, Alta and Kenneth; his grandson Nathan Cooper; and his sister Marion.

He is survived by: his children, Curtis Bailey of Springfield, MO and Coleen Cooper (Dwight) of Springfield, MO; his daughter-in-law Lori Spence of Springfield, MO; his sisters, Lois Seelye and Mavis Stasney (Glenn) of Mandan, ND; his grandchildren, Bradley Cooper, Cody Cooper (Amy), Cara Bailey (Jason), Joshua Bailey (Emily) and Jenni Fry (Micah); his great grandchild Ethan Cooper (Maranda); and his grandchildren, Dominick, Lukus, Lillie Cooper, Ellie Bailey, Brielle, Judah, Clair Bailey and Benjamin Fry.
