It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Martin of Wimbledon, North Dakota, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Martin and Lydia Martin; his former wife Jackie Haas; and his grandsons, Caleb Martin and Luke Martin.
He is survived by: his wife LuAnn Clemens (Sodawasser); his children, Linn Suttle and Jon Martin (Rachelle); his stepchildren, Ken Clemens (Jenny), Tressi Mitchell and Matt Clemens (Jess); his grandchildren, Chafen Suttle, Braydon Clemens (Gianna), Austin Suttle, Baylee Clemens (Trajan Hannum), Grace Suttle, MaTia Martin, Bryan Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, Hope Suttle (Quincy Pfister) and Logan Clemens; his great grandchildren, Willow Clemens and Halo Pfister; and his siblings, Jim Martin (Jan), JoAnn Blinsky (Ellis), Wayne Martin, Marv Martin and Karen Lipetzky (Clete). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and God children.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Haut Funeral Home (1101 5th Ave NE, Jamestown, ND 58401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Paul Lutheran Church (307 Gibson St, Wimbledon, ND 58492).
