It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Herner of Wilton, North Dakota, born in Strasburg, North Dakota, who passed away on December 27, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hager and Margaret Hager (Baumgartner); her husband Don Herner; and her siblings, Katherine Welk, Julia Fiest, Mary Zacher, Barb Silbernagel, Alice Heidrich, Pius Hager, Andy Hager, Eddie Hager and Joe Hager (Sunny).
She is survived by: her children, Dave Herner (Wilton), Lisa Jenkins (Wilton) and Nancy Barnick (West Fargo); her grandchildren, Jordyn Jenkins (Matt) and Brandon Jenkins (Valley City); her sisters, Helen Bachmeier (Bismarck) and Irene Heidrich (Strasburg); and her siblings-in-law, Kermit and Teddie Herner.
Masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and funeral mass.
