He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sherven and Mildred Sherven Gifstad (Hagen); and his stepfather Leif Gifstad. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Poppler; his children, Kenneth Sherven of Williston, ND and Juilet Sherven (Bill); his grandchildren, Jacob, Tara, Catrina and Lexie; and his siblings, Randy Sherven, Melody Sherven, Cindy Vandemark and Lori Kleineck. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
