She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold Nelson and Edith Nelson (Robinson); her mother-in-law Elice; her sister Ellen Mann; her daughter Jenny; her husband Melvin; her children, Mike (Karen), Mark and Edee Hendrickson (Bryon); her adoptive daughter Cindy Morales; her grandchildren, Kayla Stamp, Shauni Hellegaard (Derek), Daniel Hendrickson (LaTosha), Charlotte Pettit (Ben), Ian Babbitt, Seth Babbitt and Boaz Stamp; her great grandchildren, Isaac Hendrickson and Avni Carns; and her siblings, Roger Nelson (Linda), Karen Fisher (George), Cloe Nelson, Linda Tanner (Charlie), Marlene Rogers (Dan) and David Nelson (Gail). She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
