She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Omar and Nazira Omar (Kurdi); her husband Jeptha Benson; and her siblings, Fatima Miller (Omar), Abraham Omar, Raymond Omar, Beverly Horst (Omar) and Fredrick Omar.
She is survived by: her pet Misty; her daughter Cynthia Benson; and her siblings, Mary Ann Wing (Omar), Raye Faith Omar and Joseph Omar.
