He was predeceased by: his parents, Borghild Sandvold (Olson) and Reidar Belvin Sandvold; his former wife Norma; and his siblings, Herald Sandvold and Grace Storhaug.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Norma Holman; his wife Avis Wright; his children, Dirk, Al Sandvold (Mary), Suzanne Nygaard (Kyle), Gina Westerso (Reggie), Kyle Haugen, Nyle Belgarde (Rocky) and Raef Haugen; his grandchildren, Jenni Haugen and Jodi Belgarde; and also Suzanne.

Memorial Contribution. In lieu of flowers or gifts memorials can be made to the Upper Missouri Ministries.
