He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Bachmeier and Elizabeth Bachmeier (Schmidt); his wife Mary Ann; his siblings, Katie Brown, Vince Bachmeier and Pete Bachmeier; and his parents-in-law, Fran Bachmeier, Al Brown, LeRoy Fixen, Carol Engebrit and Frank Young (Betty).
He is survived by: his daughters, Yvette Bachmeier and Theresa Nygaard (Allen) of Williston; his grandson Colby Nygaard of Williston; his siblings, John Bachmeier of Woodland, CA, Joe Bachmeier (Lilian) of Havre, MT, Clara Fixen of Williston and Bea Welk (Marlin) of Rugby; his sister-in-law Bea Bachmeier (Fritel); and his brother Tim Young (Sandi). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Church and school, Bethel Lutheran Foundation, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, which Nick had a soft spot for.
