He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Schroeder and Nora Schroeder (Villneauve); and his siblings, Robert, Michael, Myron, Paul and Susie.

He is survived by: his children, Travis (Lakin), Melissa, Anita, Jackie, Cassie (Jason) and Erin; his siblings, Dick (Betty), Ernie, John, Joseph (Jodi), Larry, Greg, Albert, Theresa and Anne (Al); his grandchildren, Mariah, Whitney, Carter, Seth, Ava, Kyle, Autumn, Rosa, Charliegh, Lily and James; and his sister-in-law Mary. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
