She was predeceased by: her former husband Thomas D. Pickell, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John R. Dickmeyer of Bacliff, TX; her stepsons, Darren and Jeremy; and her father John F. Ehlers of Cambria, CA. She is also survived by 3 siblings.

After Hurricane Harvey's devastation combined with COVID-19 lockdowns, she took up custom card making for family & friends.
