He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Forthun and Borgny Forthun (Heller); and his sisters, Dianne Peterson and Beverly Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Forthun of Williston; his siblings, John Forthun (Carrie) of Williston, Tom Forthun (Pru) of Nevada, Mark Forthun (Olga) of Texas, Judy Smith (Wade) of Froid, MT and Nancy Lervik (Wayne); his stepdaughters, Laura Anne Gabriele of Missoula, MT, Candice Jasmine Westerman of Connecticut and Brittany Alison Arnstad (John); and his grandchildren, Kaiden, Bailey and Abigail.
