He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Bottolfsen and Irene Bottolfsen (Erickson); his siblings, Virginia Buck and Robert Bottolfsen; and his granddaughter Danielle Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Hannegrefs; his children, Kelly Thome (Sam) and Tom Bottolfsen; his grandchildren, Samantha Thome and Sheldon Thome; and his sister Marion Zurek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
