It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann McMonigal (Williston, North Dakota), born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on July 19, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Lisa Michelle Thornburg; her great grandchild Jaydon Hansen Best; and her significant other Cassie. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Abadie, Jr.; her children, Brent Anderson (Tyra Goodwin) of Richmond, VA and Betsy Best (Brian); her grandchild Michael of Bowdon, GA.; her great grandchildren, Mikey Hammel, Owen Hammel, Daryl Best, Navah Gilley and Kova Anderson; and her grandson Nicholas Best. She is also survived by wife, mother (momma), grandmother (Mamoo) and great- grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, family is asking for donations to be made to The American Cancer Society https://www.cancer.org in Joyce's memory and the National Juvenile Diabetes Association for her surviving grandson Nicholas Best.
