She was predeceased by: her parents, Borghild Schmidt and Lester Schmidt; her child Leslie; and her siblings, Darrell Schmidt, Ruby Herland and Marlene Jeannotte.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Bailey; her niece Alyson Dickson; her daughter Rita Johnson; and her sisters, Mary Schmidt and Penney Vig. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and so many friends.
