He was predeceased by: his parents, William Loye Wells and Alli Wells (Galloway); his grandson Noah Gilbertson; and his daughter-in-law Kristi Grove Wells. He is survived by: his children, Carolle Wells, Rebecca Gilbertson (Gary), Joni Sonsalla (Mike), Tracy Bergstrom (Scott), Jackie Wells, Michael Wells (Sandra) and Cecily Schwandt (William); and his wife Violet Carol Papineau. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
