She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Stuen and Lillian Stuen; her husband Marlin Braaten; her brothers, Jim, Paul and David Stuen; and her brothers-in-law, Calmar Braaten (Alice) and Buck Scheele.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Braaten (Andrene), Williston, Greg, Brent Braaten (Karen) and Mandan; her grandchildren, Kyle (Aimee), Kaycee, Jacob (Jordan), Olivia (Tommy), Shantel, Chandler (Virginia) and Dawson; her great grandchildren, Cora, Camden, Capri, Rush, Eve, Hendrie, Demy and Ayla; her sister Lois Scheele (Williston); and her sister-in-law Sandy Stuen.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Gideons International and Williston Trinity Christian School.
