He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Mellang; his children, Tom Stokke (Angie) of Grand Forks, ND and Patty Christensen (Les) of Williston, ND; his grandchildren, Nick, Elle, Erik Stokke of Grand Forks, ND, Kate (Shawn) and Kurt Christensen (Sarah) of Merriam, KS; his great grandchild Beau Cote of Williston, ND; and his sister-in-law Doris Christianson of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
