She was predeceased by: her parents, Iver Borlaug and Selma Borlaug (Fougner); her husband Earl Bauste; her siblings, Sylvan, Salina Bruns (Paul), Lorraine Olson (Robert), Olga Breeding, Irene Wilson, Syneva Sliper and Bertha Grimstvedt; and her parents-in-law, Betty Borlaug, Carol Borlaug, Lloyd Bauste (Irene), Wendell Bauste (Amy), Ina Heath (Maynard) and Arnold Bauste (Virginia).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis, Darren and Lona Hystad (Craig); her siblings, Allen Borlaug, Willard Borlaug and Gloria Blomberg (Marlo); and her grandchildren, Earl, Rana, Erik, Chad of Dean, JR, Jake, Jesse, Larissa, Cassie, Casey, Caydee, Charlie, Kayla, Delton, Chris and Chance. She is also survived by twenty nine great-grandchildren.
