She was predeceased by: her parents, Vida Fern (Wetherelt) and Joseph P. Lester. She is survived by: her former husband Duane Evanson (Dewey); her children, Debra Nelson (Ken) of Dickinson, Barbara Evanson of Mandan, David Evanson (Penny) of Williston and Tracy Evanson of Grand Forks; her grandchildren, Brian Nelson (Dawn) of Dickinson, Brent Nelson (Kayla) of Dickinson, Valerie McDaniel (Jason) of Williston, Jeremiah Evanson of Williston and Gabrielle Evanson of Grand Forks; her great grandchildren, Logan Nelson, Conor, Evan McDaniel, Daven and Erik Nelson; her sisters, Thelma Vrana of Upton, WY and Hazel Brossman (Dan) of Lander, WY; her sister-in-law Sammie Lester of Fairview, MT; her stepchildren, Ken Harmon (Jeanine) of Duluth, MN, Beverly Frank (Dwight) of Beulah, ND and Sandra Metzger (Henry) of St. Paul, MN; her husband Robert Harmon; and her siblings, Tom Lester (Ruth), Annie Tysver (Joe), Elsie Carstens (Ernie), Lloyd Lester (Charleen) and Joe "Merle" Lester (Bettie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fulkerson Stevenson Funeral Home Chapel (218 W Highland Dr, Williston, ND 58801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
