He was predeceased by: his parents, Halvor and Emma; his daughter Char Grondahl; his sisters, Hilda Hanson, Nellie Sundquist, Edith Hill and Ruth Ergeson; and his nieces and nephews, Glen Ergeson, Jimmy Hill, Linda Hill, Donna Hanson and Leila Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene, Betty Jane, DeLona and Zoanni; his wife Arlene; his daughter Connie Lee (Don); his grandchildren, Bryan Lee (Nicole), Brent Lee (Heidi), Christine Rogers (Chad), Betty Jane Tvedt, DeLona Broe (Craig), Dustin Bratlien (Karla), Courtney Chaney, Kallie Rider, Zoanni Liffrig (John), Terra Erickson (Aaron) and Tyler Liffrig (Jacque); his son Kory Tvedt; his son-in-law Larry Grondahl (Brenda); and his children, Shaun Nielsen (Carrie) and Jason Nielsen. He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
