She was predeceased by: her husband Arvid; her brothers, Jackie and Jerry; her siblings-in-law, Grace Neubauer and Tom Neubauer; and her nephew Dan Neubauer.
She is survived by: her children, David Birkeland (Cheryl), Jacob (Elise), Andy, Sally Helms (Lynn), Nathan (Hannah), Anjel (Sebastian), Paul, Bette Grande (Don), Alec (Hollie), Ian (Kayla), Ingrid, John Birkeland (Donita), Caleb, Mary Beth Zimdars (Ty), Maria, Talia, Angelia and Wayne; her great grandchildren, Tobias Gene Grande, Christian Judah Grande and Amalie Aas; and her sister Judy Shafer (Terry).
