He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Aamoth and Myrtle Aamoth (Fossum); his significant other Donna; his siblings, Larry, Marion, Gen and Norma; his son Craig Aamoth; and his grandchildren, Alicia Dragger and Zach Anderson.

He is survived by: his sibling Valley Tigers; his children, Paula Marquette (Steve), Wayne Aamoth (Sandra), Toni Anderson (Rory) and Kari Hastings (Dale); his daughter-in-law Dianne Aamoth; his grandchildren, Stacy Johnson Casarez (Albert), Sherri Ekblad (Matt), Adrianne Engelter (Steve), Avery Aamoth (Delanee), Carly Wolf (Alex), Lauren Leff (Cory), Derik Anderson (Chelsey), Dustin Anderson (Kecia), Nichole Gwin (Brandon) and Natalie Pladson (Derek); his great grandchildren, Kayden Johnson (Natalie), Kody Johnson, Kolten Casarez, Leif, Bode, Chay Ekblad, Sophia, Olivia Engleter, Ari Aamoth, Wallace Wolf, Alena, Leni Mae, Lane Anderson, Elise, Bryn Anderson, Layla, Liam, Emma, Caleb, Rosie Gwin and Jasper Pladson; and his great great grandchild LilyAnne Johnson.
