She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Machtell and Cora Machtell (Bergene); her former spouse Gilman Skarphol; and her siblings, Shirley Machtell Haman and Russell Machtell.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Skarphol (David Krueger), Gail Jandl (Greg) and Gilman Skarphol, Jr. (Cindy); her grandchildren, Forest Krueger, Parker Krueger (Ari), Ian Jandl, Karli Skarphol and Gunnar Skarphol; and her sister Muriel Leholm. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
