It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Morris of Williston, North Dakota, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Morris and Helen Morris (Jones); his wife Ardys Hill; his son Randall Morris; his son-in-law LeRoy Peterson; and his brothers, Robert and Charles Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Peterson of Ryder, ND, Donnette Strange (Kent) of Florissant, CO, Steve Morris (Marge) of Henderson, TX and Ronald Morris (Chong) of Billings, MT; his daughter-in-law Phyllis Morris of Spearfish, SD; his grandchildren, Deanna Reikow, David Peterson, Carolyn Munns (Kevin), Toby Morris, Tarrah Barbour (Beau), Leah Terrell, Kesha Strange, Shannon Guess (Darren), Jennifer Andrews (Jimmy), Justin Morris (Cydney), Jacob Morris and Angela Kirby; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Berg and Julie Hill. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND, or the Ryder Historical Museums, Ryder, ND.
