He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hannegrefs and Elma Hannegrefs (Johnson); his wife Carol Ann; and his sisters, Rosemary Larsen and Carolyn Horgan (Leo).
He is survived by: his siblings, Stephen Hannegrefs (Pat) of Max, Angela Reisnouer of Devils Lake, Shirley Schumacher (Bob) of Bismarck and Laurel Evans (Bob) of Williston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
