He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Beard and Olive Beard (McAvena); his brother Tim Beard; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Jordan and Carol Beard (Fokken).
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Kari and Sara; his wife Charell Schillo; his grandchildren, Baily Erickson and Garrett Erickson; his siblings, Glenn Beard (Annette), Gloria Jordan, Linda Beard, Russell Beard and Wayne Beard; and his sister-in-law Nancy Beard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
