It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Hagen of Williston, North Dakota, born in Saint John, North Dakota, who passed away on January 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewain Smith and Lillie Smith (Carlson); her stepfather Seivert Solheim; her son Thomas Mark Hagen; and her brothers, Neil (Ella Smith), Loren (Esther Smith) and Douglas Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Hagen; her daughter Kathy Kalil (Dan); and her daughter-in-law Susan Hagen of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Home and the Alzheimer's Association.
