He is survived by: his former wives, Marjorie Welch and Karen Holzer (Hertz); his stepdaughters, Dawn Brorby and Lori Hillestad; his children, Garrett McLean and Audree Joern (Ron); his granddaughter Sierra Whitmire; his great grandchild Eliza Jones; his siblings, Dennis (Judith), Robb (Angela), Lyndon (Carol Grace), Judy Lynn Martzolf, Barbara Knutson, Myra Vik (Doug) and Carol Fielhaber (Billy); and his siblings-in-law, Eileen McLean and Jerry Schmitke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
