He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Benth (Jacobsen) and Emil O. Benth; his son Greg; and his siblings, Odin, Marvin, Enid, Bud (Emil) and Vernon.
He is survived by: his sons, C. David (Peggy) of Gillette, WY and Brett (Darcy) of Auburn, WA; his wife Gladys of Williston; and his daughter Dawn Selvig (Randy) of Fairview, MT. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
