He was predeceased by: his parents, Jule Haugen and Gunda Haugen; his wife Lynn Roumaine Allen; and his sons, Ardell and Mark.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Jean Haugen and Melodie Joy Nelson; his sister Delores Jacobson of Williston; his grandchildren, Rianna Lynn Brunelle, Cindy Lee Wolery and Eric Richard Nelson; and his great grandchild Donna Rossman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
