He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lodoen and Hazel Lodoen; his son Leonard; his former wife Bette; his son-in-law Joel Joraanstad; his brother Myron; his nephew Dusty Lodoen; his sister Linda Lou; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Henry, Clyde Kersten and Robin Kersten.

He is survived by: his wife Maysil Malard; his children, Jim Lodoen (Teresa), Toni Broderick (Myron), Penny Ballantyne (Russ) and Matt Lodoen; his daughter-in-law Jennie Lodoen; his brother Mylon; his sisters-in-law, Patty Lodoen and Wanda Henry; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Rausch (Doug), Lowell Malard (Shannon) and Wendy Wellmann (John). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family prefers memorials to the Westhope Volunteer Ambulance Service, Westhope Volunteer Fire Department or the Westhope Cemetery Fund.
