He is survived by: his wife Barbara Staskivige; his daughter Amanda (Michael); his grandchildren, Hunter and Wyatt Bjorn; his siblings, Brenda Ashby of Remington, VA, Robert Mandigo (Cecelia) of Bay City, MI, James Mandigo (Ulrike), Rodenbach, Germany and Julia Johnson (Craig) of Maxbass, ND; his mother-in-law Margret Staskvivige of Drayton, ND; his sister-in-law Heidi Brosius (Allen) of Fargo, ND; and his friend Elizabeth Lipinski.
