Daniel Kirk Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Kirk of Westhope, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmo Kirk and Helen Vera Kirk (Talcott); his stepfather James Roberts; his brother Gail Kirk; his brother-in-law Dale Rice; and his nephew Jessie Kirk.
He is survived by: his wife Vernetta Ann Klokstad; his children, Traci Ballantyne (Jerrad), Tera Tofteland (Brian), Kelly Kirk and Kendall Kirk; his grandchildren, Hunter Ballantyne, Lakin Cook (Blaine), Bailey Gutierrez (Brian), Chas Tofteland (Kailey), Kaden Kirk and Brody Kirk; his stepgrandchildren, Mariana Chavez, Ale Chavez and Tristan Anderson; his great grandchildren, Teagan, Liam, Brooks Gutierrez, Bridger, Crew and Hayes Cook; his siblings, Dwaine Kirk (Debbie) and Joanne Rice; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Kirk. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church.
