He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schweitzer and Theresa Schweitzer (Geiger); his wife Pearl Yeager; his son William Jr.; and his brother Kenneth.
He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Schweitzer (Teresa) of West Fargo, ND and John Schweitzer (Jennifer) of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren, Allison Wentz (Tyler), Jake Schweitzer, Janelle and Jacey Schweitzer; and his siblings, Angeline Berger, Lillian Schweitzer, Joe Schweitzer (Becky) and Robert Schweitzer.
