It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tonya Steeves of West Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Tonya shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Tonya farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her father Dennis Tolzien. She is survived by: her mother Gloria Tolzien; her husband Dean Steeves; her son Brandon Tolzien; her siblings, Tian Foss (Roger), Terril Tolzien (Lisa) and Travis Tolzien; and her pet Zoey.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center (321 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“My deepest condolences to the Tolzein Family. The Tolzein's were my first friends as we were next door neighbors back on 84th Ave in Spring Lake Park during the 60's through 80's. Oh my, such great childhood memories. Tonya was always one tough cookie! She was older, so we didn't spend much time together, as Tian is my age. The Tolzein family is one of faith and love.
