He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Anna Mitzel, Bernhart and Lena Bachmeier; and his brothers-in-law, Jay Larson and Doug Schenck.
He is survived by: his parents, Philip Bachmeier and Opal Bachmeier (Mitzel) of Fargo, ND; his siblings, Kevin Bachmeier (Julie) of Maplewood, MN, Candice Johnson (Clyde) of Grand Forks, ND, Pam Hildebrand (Dan) and Tammy Schenck (late Doug); and his nieces and nephews, Emily Bachmeier, Jesse Richardson (Katie), Briana Rummel (Klark), Jordan Hildebrand, Tyler and Reilee Schenck.
Even in the midst of a pandemic, his family was able to come together and one-by-one, to say goodbye.
In lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to Sanford Hospice in Fargo or to the Souris Valley Animal Shelter in Minot.
