He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Witt and Lydia Witt (Genther); and his siblings, Art Witt, William E. Witt (Bill), Freida Sevik, Hertha Dewald, Hilda Lang and Lorraine Forvilly.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly R. Miesner (Matthew) and Sherry M. Witt (Chase); his grandchildren, Adriana Salcedo, Lydia Miesner, Lilyana Salcedo, Henry Miesner and Grace Miesner; and his sister Esther Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
