He is survived by: his stepson Shane Spieker (Kristina); his grandchildren, Kaiden and Brynn of West Fargo, ND; his sister Judy Schmitz (Joel); his nephew Seth Schmitz (Ashley); his nieces, Jennie Maddox (Reed) and Teresa Rumpee (Mike); and his great-nephew Joe of Woodbury, MN.
