It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Rieth of West Fargo, North Dakota, born in Valley City, North Dakota, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rieth and Mary Rieth; his brothers, Gerald, Ed, Marv and Rodger; and his son-in-law Rob Ekerberg.

He is survived by: his wife Jayne Messmer; his children, Rob Rieth, Chad Rieth (Dana) and Jodee Ekerberg (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jordan Ekerberg (Tailor Rudolph), Jenna Rieth and Jacob Rieth; and his sister Viola Gorman of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; long-time neighbors and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Rodney's wishes were to have memorials sent to Friendship, Inc, 801 Page Drive, Fargo, ND 58103.
