Richard Poukka Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2025, at the age of 79, Richard Poukka (West Fargo, North Dakota), born in Duluth, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Poukka and Angeline Poukka (Skull); his siblings, Sue and Ralph Jr.; and his pet Zander.
He is survived by: his close friend Elaine Poukka; his children, Anne Gutknecht (Tim Webb), Bill Poukka (Audrey), Tracy Bloomquist (Neil Halland) and Jackie Duttenhefer (Bob); his pet Mercedes; his grandchildren, James Poukka, Rachel Cannon (Brad), Celina Loepp (Kenneth), Kevin Gutknecht (Aspen), Kyrstin Froelich (Daniel), Jenna Kayton (William), Austin Duttenhefer, Jakob Bloomquist (Michael Lunde) and Kaleigh Webb-Gutknecht; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Shay Cannon, Jordan, Caleb Loepp, Evelyn Cupp, Sawyer, Albie Kayton, Zoey and Zara Gutknecht; and his siblings, Cindy Draeger, Robert Poukka (Donna McDonald), Roger Poukka (DuRae) and Ronald Poukka.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center (321 Sheyenne St, West Fargo, ND 58078). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Homeward Bound Animal Shelter in Fargo.
