He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Elmer, Ardyce Woinarowicz, Harvey and Margaret Thompson. He is survived by: his parents, Michael J. Thompson of Cavalier, ND and Cynthia Thompson (Woinarowicz) of Cavalier, ND; his son Shawn Eric Thompson of Grafton, ND; his siblings, Adam Thompson of Sioux Falls, SD, Eric Thompson of Cavalier, ND, Holly Young (Joseph) of Neche, ND, Selena Tesmer (Jason) of Neche, ND and Crystal Symington of Cavalier, ND; his nieces and nephews, Kane Moon, Sierra Johnson and Mason Symington; and his great-niece Luna Moon.
A memorial service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cavalier Evangelical Free Church (1006 Main St W, Cavalier, ND 58220).
